Happy Mother's Day

This is me at 27, about to become a mom for the first time.

Give your mom a hug and tell her you love her!

  3. Make it three belated wishes!

I don't have children so Mother's Day is always a one-way street for me. When Mom told me she had gotten a little gift for my sister for Mother's Day I asked her where was MY gift. She said, well, you're not a mother yet. YET? LOL! Of course I have my cats, they promised to wash the dishes for Mother's Day but they didn't. Maybe next year.

God Bless All Mothers. Where would we be without them?:)

  4. Thanks Don and Julie! For the most part, I enjoyed being pregnant. I took better care of myself than ever before. I didn't usually eat breakfast but I took a boiled egg and an apple to work every morning and I had liver every week--and I haven't had it since!
My doctor let me down at the end and almost caused our deaths thru neglect. One day I'm going to write about it.

  5. Linda, I'm sorry to hear about your doctor. Over the years I have developed what I believe to be a "healthy" skepticism when it comes to doctor's orders. I'm sure your story is painful but I do hope you tell it one day.
