A group of cat lovers in Shanghai, China, used the internet to collect $1,320 to buy a truck loaded with some 800 cats headed for RESTAURANTS!!! They hope to find homes for them by using their pictures.
In southern China, cat meat is considered a delicacy--what isn't?--and cats are freshly killed before being cooked! Damn! So, I guess they pick a cat like a lobster. That is just sickening! It didn't say how they were killed and I'm not sure I want to know. I hope the cats are able to give out some deep bites and scratches!
In another article, parts of China are being overrun by field mice! Kitty karma at work? Maybe they should develop a taste for fried mice on a stick!
