D Day

When I see a photo like this, I always wonder about the soldier. What kind of horrible situations did he have to go through? And most importantly, did he make it home? They were so young!

I watched some actual film on PBS about the war and it made me cry for the men who were lost. What a horrible experience at such a tender age. At any age, really.
