Actually, it's Jim Bob and Michelle's seventh girl! Not to worry--they also have ten boys! And expressed the wish to have more!! That's a total of 17 kids! I know you can add, I'm just trying to wrap my mind around the number! They have two sets of twins. Well, thank goodness for small favors! This woman has been pregnant for 10.5 years of her life! YIKES! The oldest is 19 and the youngest is 2! AND....they're home-schooled! How do they even have time to have sex?? Obviously, they're managing, but really!! All the kids' names start with a J and they've had a baby born in every month but June.
"We are just so grateful to God for another gift from him," said Jim Bob Duggar, 42, a former state representative. "We are just so thankful to him that everything went just very well."
Amen to that. The mother is 40 and they could be getting into dangerous territory as far as safety is concerned.

UPDATE: Saw them on the Today Show this morning and the older kids were asked if they felt like they had not gotten enough attention and they said no, they didn't feel that way. They were shown driving a motor home but it wasn't mentioned if that was their mode of daily transportation! ;)

ReplyDeleteIt's really their own business but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the kids decide not to have kids! I googled their name and read some of the posts. They seem well organized and all the kids have jobs to do around home and all of them learn to play piano and violin. Can't imagine trying to get that many to outside sports or dance classes! Seems like it would take a bus to move them all! It said they were debt-free and built their 7000 sq ft house with help from some friends. Also hard to imagine cooking for that many! wow There must be a schedule for the bathrooms, too! Goodness gracious, great balls of fire!!
