CWO 4 Keith Yoakum

Chief Warrent Officer 4 Keith Yoakum is someone you should know about. A pilot-in-command of a AH-64D Longbow Apache helicopter, Alpha Company, 1st Battalon, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, Multi-National Division (Baghdad), he received the Disguished Service Cross for giving his life while trying to protect his men. His aircraft was hit and he could've landed away from the attack but chose to stay and defend his wingmen. His co-pilot, CWO 2 Jason G. Fefrenn, died in the same crash.
