Family Ties That Bind

Barry's uncle has his own opinion about his upcoming trip to Buchenwald. He wouldn't mind going along but hasn't been invited. Guess the telepromters take up too much room!

He's the uncle that Barry said helped to liberate Buchenwald . Problem was, he never discussed it with said uncle or he would've known it was a subcamp that he helped liberate. Seems Barry's parents liked to embelish  stories they told. I guess you could also say after you lie about something, the truth gets lost. Anyway, they aren't close but do chat if they're in the same room.

And there's definitely no shame in liberating a smaller death camp. His descripotion of it is terrible, as expected. He did an interview for a German magazine.

JT on Survivor

When Survivor first started, I watched from beginning to end but after a few seasons, I lost interest. It may have been the gross things they had to eat or the fact that they had to wear the same clothes for ever how long they were where they were! Good thing we don't have smell-a-vision!

Lately, I have been watching sometimes and I got more interested when the cocky "coach" was voted off and I found out that JT was from Mobile, Alabama! He's in the final four and I hope he wins. Yeah, I root for the home team! (He's cute, too!) I assume from the ads that tonight is THE night when the winner wins so I know what I'll be doing tonight!

UPDATE: JT won 1 million dollars on the show and another $100,00 after being voted the most popular person on the show!

What's His Name?

That's what I thought I'd be asking you today!

I saw an actor on an Law & Order show Fri night and recognized his handsome face but couldn't recall his name! I knew he had played a doc on one of those shows but couldn't come up with that either. It was annoying me like crazy!

It seemed like his name was Chris, Clint or something like that. I could see his face but the name was not to be had!

I tried Googling tv docs and numerous other things. People would talk about Dr Welby, Dr Kildare, Dr Casey, etc, etc, but no mention of this guy! I thought I was doomed to never come up with his name when after a long time someone mentioned CHAD EVERETT! Finally, relief!

He's still a looker with his mostly gray hair!

After all of this, my son says oh, you should've just clicked on tv.com! My response was oh, if you value your life you better run away as fast as you can!! Smarty pants! ;)

Yes, that's right boys and girls, Silky Edwards is being investigated for spending campaign funds on his baby's momma and then lying about it being for furniture! What an imagination! Actually, I think it was Elizabeth who called her "furniture". I can think of a lot worse things she could've called her!

Poor Silky. One day he's getting $600 haircuts and now, he can't catch a break.

UPDATE: The baby's momma has a lawyer and wants a paternity test. Guess she didn't like what Elizabeth had to say about her in her book and on Oprah. Her name was not to be mentioned and she seduced John, poor thing. Elizabeth seems to want to believe they only had sex once. Poor Elizabeth. She only wanted John to be faithful to her. That's all she wanted!
